La Vigne Rousse is a charming mansion in the centre of Ferrals-les-Corbières, an idyllic vintners' village in the Languedoc-Roussillon. The house and its outbuildings go back to the French revolution. For over a century and a half it was the throbbing heart of a blooming vintner’s enterprise. The rolling hills surrounding the village still please the eye with their vineyards and almond trees, but La Vigne Rousse has in the meantime been transformed into a stylish stopping place for tourists. The village and its surroundings live by the rhythm of the vineyard. Seasons of slumber and toil alternate under the radiant Mediterranean sun.
